A few years ago I had the privilege of attending a night photography class at the Madeline Island School of the Arts led by John Gregor, Coldsnap Photography. Traveling throughout the area was lovely. Taking our car on the ferry to Madeline Island opened additional options for viewing wildlife, photographing night skies and enjoying the sunrises and sunset along the lakeshore.
